2022 Raffle Quilt

We are happy to announce the joyous, creative return of the yearly raffle quilt!

This year’s creation was sewn entirely by Gary Coats from pieces precisely cut by Julie Chahon, bound by Cathy Crownover, and long-arm-quilted by Carol Babcock. The quilt contains 1,638 pieces not counting the binding and backing. The brightly-colored pieces are all of batik fabric. The piecework design was copyrighted in 1997 by Glad Creations, Inc. The finished quilt measures 71 by 80 inches.This is the first raffle quilt made in three years. Tickets will be available at Sandy Historical Society at only $2 for single tickets or three tickets for $5. The winning ticket will be drawn November 30, 2022.
