“Crawford Camp” Carving

This carving, believed to have been made by a trapper in 1808, was found on a tree near a lake south of Mt. Hood. The late Duane Knapp, owner of Skyline Logging Co., saved it for the Sandy Historical Society Museum. (Courtesy of SHS and Duane Knapp)
