Friends Of The Museum

Friends of the Museum is a group founded about 2018 by Cathy Crownover, which uses donated fiber and fabrics and makes products to leave for the museum to sell in the gift shop. Proceeds benefit the museum. When the former Quilters and Fiber Arts Club ( QFAC ) closed during the pandemic, some of their group joined the Friends,                         Participants meet once a week on Mondays in the upstairs meeting room with the exception of second Mondays, when the board meets, or when there are conflicting events.  The friends number 10 at present: Cathy, LaDonna, Shirley, Julie, Ken, Wendy, Lily, Lori, Char, and Gary. Cathy Crownover is pictured here holding a seasonal quilted table runner, which items have been popular sellers. More delightful holiday items are planned for the coming season.
