Antiques, Collectables, Fabric, and Book Sale
The combined Antiques, Collectibles, Fabric, and Book Sale will be here almost before you know it. The museum at 39345 Pioneer Blvd, Sandy 97055 (for those using GPS) opens at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 10, and the sale will continue all day until 4 p.m. Friends of the museum directed by leader Cathy Crownover already have been busy sorting and organizing many bundles of cloth to prepare for the enormously popular fabric part of the sale. Office supervisor Ken Funk said that staff and volunteers have been holding this sale for about eight years, with the exception of years during the pandemic closure. All sales benefit the museum. Museum curator Myriam MacLeod said the sale will feature lots of antique tools, collectibles, ephemera, housewares, and furniture. A large amount of paperbacks, hardcover books, and some coffee table books will be sold at bargain prices. She added that there will also be collectible militaria from various wars. As you can see from some of the photos, valuable items will be here during the sale, so please check them out. Come early for the best choices!
