New Crafts Call For Denim Donations

Our Friends of the Museum members certainly have not been hibernating during the winter months!

Founder Cathy Crownover brought in a bounty of new finished crafts this week to add to seasonal items, some of which are pictured here.

Check out the cute, sparkly valentine gnomes which can be used as swag on the front door or just for general room decor. Bake up some sweet winter warmth with gift-ready oven mitts filled with easy-to-fix chocolate chip cookie mix and cooking utensils to help create happy times or celebrate them.

Give a special person or yourself an adorable pachyderm (elephant with a pocket for phone, remote, and the like), or a bunny rabbit. Sport a professional-looking hand-sewn tote bag, sock-it-to-ya bag for crafts or walkers, or smaller purses for cell phones.

We were given a preview of the new denim jeans made into purses which we anticipate displaying soon.

Speaking of which, the Friends need denim fabrics of any color for future crafts. If you have any denims to donate, you can drop them off at the museum at 39345 Pioneer Blvd. The denim will be repurposed into attractive products, with 100 percent of proceeds going to the museum.
